Entry Requirements:
Open to traditional members’ clubs, commercial clubs, and community clubs.

Nomination Questions:
Community Impact (200 words)
Describe how the club has engaged with its local community to provide opportunities for people to learn and play golf in a welcoming environment, as well as utilize facilities and participate in social activities.
Member Experience (200 words)
How has the club provided quality experiences to existing and new members? Include both playing and social opportunities, highlighting any innovative approaches.
Inclusivity & Accessibility (200 words)
Provide examples of how this club has created an accessible and inclusive environment while adhering to all safeguarding standards.

Facility of the Year

Recognising golf clubs that exemplify excellence in community engagement, member experience, and inclusive practices.

Entry Requirements:

Eligible facilities include: driving ranges, short courses, par-3 courses, pitch and putt courses, simulator venues, adventure golf venues, or complexes with multiple amenities

Junior Greenkeeper of the Year

Recognising exceptional junior greenkeeping staff who have made significant contributions to their course maintenance in 2024.

Entry Requirements:

Must be employed as a junior greenkeeper for at least one year.

Greenkeeper of the Year

Recognising exceptional senior greenkeeping staff who have made significant contributions to their course maintenance in 2024.

Must be a bar & restaurant as part of a member’s golf club.

Pro Shop Manager of the Year

Recognising exceptional attitude, store presentation and customer service.

Must be a permanent member of staff at the golf pro shop.

Sustainability Project of the Year

Recognising exceptional environmental, social, or economic sustainability initiatives

Entry Requirements:

Project must have been completed in 2024 (though it may have started earlier)

Nomination Focus Areas:
Environmental: Reducing carbon emissions, conserving water, improving waste management, increasing biodiversity, or educating members on environmental issues
Social: Working with the local community, reducing inequalities, promoting inclusion, or encouraging community groups to utilise the golf club
Economic: Incorporating sustainability into business plans, investing in green technology, or allocating funds toward sustainability projects

Nomination Question:
Provide specific details on the project itself, impacts made, and why this project deserves special recognition (800 words maximum)

Volunteer of the Year

Recognizing exceptional volunteers who have made significant contributions to golf in 2024.


Entry Requirements:
Must have been involved in volunteer activities during 2024
Activities may be within a club, county, community, school, or university


Nomination Questions:

Detail what the volunteer achieved in 2024.

Women & Girls Trailblazer

Recognising efforts to increase female participation in golf.

Entry Requirements:
Open to individuals, projects, campaigns, or clubs that provide opportunities for women and girls to take up or continue enjoying golf.
